The Producer: Education & Development Programs is answerable for the power control and presentation of projects that are part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s suite of Development Programs. The role collaborates with the Associate Director, Festival Director and Executive Director to create engaging and stimulating activities for participants thru robust industry and artistic partnerships.

The Producer will task control programs via to successful completion along with making plans and producing budgets, modeling profits options, negotiating deals and contracts, and task coping with the diverse inner and outside stakeholders involved. The role sits in the Festival’s producing crew, assisting the artistic program and enterprise priorities, which include generating other events as required and supporting different workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Develop budgets for all Development Programs, workshops and opposition finals nationally consisting of specified costing of expenditure, and manage the program budgets thru to crowning glory.
Coordinate and supply logistics on Development Programs (such as but now not confined to schedules, tour, ticketing builds and many others); and administration (including however now not constrained to buy orders, application updates and reviews, artist management, permissions and licenses, and many others).
Produce and run the Class Clowns countrywide opposition and related improvement occasions – consisting of sourcing talent, venues, and group of workers.

Develop and manage co-presenter relationships for the Class Clowns and Deadly Funny programs nationally.

Manage the everyday dating with Arts Centre Melbourne for making plans and shipping of collaborative workshops, occasions, LOL Squad, Up Next Comedy, Class Clowns heats and state finals.

Ensure correct and timely reporting on program transport and development against plans.
In consultation with the advertising crew, prepare a marketing strategy for all programs to increase new audiences for Development Programs nationally and supply key stakeholder goals.
